The orchestra pit can be set at any level
- from stage level to audience level,
or all the way down for full orchestras/bands.
Steinway D-166

The generosity of residents in the
Clinton
community helped make this piano a
reality
for the PAC. It was purchased at Clark
Music
in Syracuse, where it had been previously
used as a rental instrument for touring
musicians.
In December 2005, this instrument was
debuted
at a concert by alumnus Ben Moore and
the
Hamilton College choir.

Rigging system

Our safe and easy to operate rigging
system
(developed and installed by J.R. Clancy
&
Syracuse Scenery) contains 44 linesets
with
many empty pipes to accommodate your
sets
and backdrops.

The stairs to the costume room/scenery
shop
(2nd floor), catwalk & loading
gallery
(3rd floor)
and grid are safe, well-lit and sturdy
-
making load-in and backstage work convenient.

On the 3rd floor crossover behind the
stage,
there is access to the loading gallery
and
catwalk. This backstage balcony also
serves
as a painting gallery, allowing canvas
drops
to be hung backwards and painted while
fully
stretched out.
Strand digital lighting
console

Strand 520i. Features include 24 programmable
submasters, fully automated cues, ability
to interface with DMX lighting equipment
and other special effects.

Followspots, ellipsoidals, fresnels, pars
and related cables are all high quality
and easy to use both for visiting pros
and
our students.

Soundcraft Spirit
LX7 sound board

In the center of the house is our sound booth,
with a Soundcraft Spirit LX7. It contains
32 analog channels with 4 groups. There are
6 aux output channels for stage monitors
or recording devices. On stage and in the
pit there are several mic input boxes easily
facilitating a variety of connections to
the board. Our flown JBL house speakers are
